Nares twitched as a large frame moved through the land. It was peaceful where he wanted to go, which was good since he wasn’t in the best mood to talk to anyone. Though of course if someone did show up he would be just as polite as when he was in a good mood, he couldn’t run around being mean to the pack members when he wanted to give his leader a good impression. His opticals flickered from side to side as his paws led him slowly to his destination. He was in no rush, he had all day to get to where he wanted to be. He gave a small snort as a pothole in the ground caused him to lose his balance, his banner waving wildly in the air as he caught himself. Jace gave a small chuckle of embarrassment, thanking fate that there was no one around to see that clumsy move of his. Jace was a massive gray wolf, his fur being very thick, causing the spring breeze to be like heaven to him. He loved the cold weather, since that’s when his fur really came into play. During the spring and summer, all it did was keep him sweltering and he tended to leave a trail of fur behind him because of how much he shed.
He shook his large head as he continued on his way, his optics keeping a careful watch on the ground for any other holes that would try to swallow him up. Jace was feeling slightly lazy, wanting to just sit somewhere and rest, there was a nice breeze out which meant that he wasn’t dying of the heat, plus for spring it wasn’t that warm which Jace was thankful for. His bright blue eyes lifted to the scene in front of him and he grinned, loving the way he just trusted his paws and they led him exactly where he wanted to go. Of course sometimes his paws ended up getting him into trouble by having him leave pack lands and Jace, being too off in his own world to notice, just let his paws lead him to wherever. Jace couldn’t help it, he was a wanderer at heart and just loved roaming around in search for nothing, while searching for everything.
Jace was a thinker, always getting lost in his head and thinking about every little thing that popped up into it. Sometimes even when he has company he sees something and one thought leads to another which leads to another which leads to him getting lost in Jace-world. He never means to send the message that the conversation is boring, his brain is just to big for him to handle, with many deep, dark voids that he falls down into a lot. He gave a loud sigh as he came to the edge of the crater that he had been led to. It was really a beautiful place, he had no idea why it would be a sign that they should leave. There were levels in the crater, making it easier to get to the bottom. Jace leaped down to one of the first ridges and plopped himself down, letting his two front paws and his nose hang off the edge. If he had fallen off the ridge he wouldn’t die, though he would definitely break some bones which could lead to death. The crater was enormous, usually other canines were to frightened to play by it because of the possibility of falling. Jace, however never really was afraid of falling and loved taking his chances with everything he could. He liked living life on the edge, literally, though he did know when to stop taking risks when it got dangerous.
