It's been at least two seasons since the Kilvorne have formed. Since then, they have gained new members as well as a Drappa: former Thaerrin Delta, Violent. The alliance between Adraine and Kilvorne remains strong, while rumors spread about Thaerrin and Veeryss' alliance. It won't be long until this alliance is official and more tension builds. The packs are uneasy, especially their leadership, waiting for something to happen. But with the horrors of war just on the horizon, new life has appeared – both the Alphas of Veeryss – Heine and Amarina – and Kilvorne – Wrath and Violent – have produced heirs.
News of a kidnapping has finally reached Seraphim and Cyanide of Thaerrin. With help from the Drudge Apollo and Scion Tranqir, Wrath abducted Kobi, a Thaerrin Sikla and, more importantly, Cyanide's son. He's being held as a prisoner in rebel lands, allegedly unharmed, but will not be given back until Thaerrin agrees to exchange him for all of their Kyruh. Cyanide tried desperately to get Seraphim to agree, but for both tactical and personal reason, it’s no use. In the end, she decides to take it into her own paws and go through the exchange herself, risking her and her son’s life, and outsourcing some unexpected help.
Things take a drastic turn when massive earthquake tears the sands of Adraine. Many wolves died that night, while the majority of the survivors fled from the flooded and broken terrain. There was no other choice but to run to their ally, Kilvorne, and hope that the pack would be kind enough to give them shelter. With the Alpha Cayne among the fallen that night, only his mate, Josephine and Beta Reilly are able to lead the small group to the rebel pack. They seek out Wrath and hoped to convince him to accept them, as he has so many others.
Soon, Adraine will be something of the past, with the majority of its members being absorbed into Kilvorne, and a rare few dissenters choosing different paths. As the remaining parts of the old order, Thaerrin and Veeryss have formed an uneasy alliance out of necessity. Suspicion and hatred lurks around every corner, and propaganda fills the air. Open war is on the horizon. What chaos will be unleashed once the fighting begins? Will the Kyruh really gain the respect they yearn for, or instead cause more pain than necessary?
