IMAGINE THATImagine the world that existed before Magneto destroyed Alcatraz. The world before Stryker traumatized the students at Xavier's school. The world before Rogue was even kidnapped, during a time when mutants were just coming into the light and no one really knew what it meant to be evolved. Xavier's school is full of runaways and escapees looking for somewhere safe to live, and Storm, Jean and Cyclops are all just teachers. There are no planet-saving missions. There is tension, but very little is hanging in the balance between equality and oppression. However, the debate about mutant registration is looming in the future, and a man named Senator Kelly is pushing it onto the senate floor with threats of mind control and inhuman monstrosities in the sewers. Most people see mutants as threats and are afraid of their powers--so, naturally, they will vote in favor of the bill--but to them, the mutant community is something they'll never have to deal with, a deadly disease they'll never catch. Mutants are hard-pressed to appear normal, and police brutality is rearing its ugly head once again as these people are arrested for simply being unique.
The tension is rising, and with so much of a potential for disaster, there's no guarantee that things will turn out for the best.|HOME||RULES||QUESTIONS||APP INFO||JOIN|
