Well, I guess the best way to explain this is to say he knows what he is feeling and is quite in touch with his feelings. At times he can let them get the best of him, especially when he hasn’t seen his dose of spilled blood. Recently he has made a concentrated effort to control his emotions. This of course has led him to kill more, because, by seeing the blood, he can calm down better. Despite his killing, he doesn’t have a heart of a killer, but a heart of a romantic. With this, one could only think he would have great passion. Well, you would be right. Zai is very passionate about anything he decides to attach himself to, whether it be his art or to love a canine to the best of his abilities. This can lead him to fight his hardest to achieve his goals. He is quite determined to achieve all of his goals even if they are impossible to complete. This just drives him more because he knows he can do it somehow and someday. HISTORY: Zai was born into the court of a kingdom in a far away city. From the moment he hit the ground, he was destined to be a killer. His father was the general of the land and his mother was an assassin. Since he was very young, he was taught everything about his enemies and how to eliminate them. His mother saw something in him that she didn’t see in her other pups. He had a bloodlust that she could barely help him to control. Before long he was conducting missions along her side just to help him keep sane; however, he also began to show talent for killing way beyond what she could teach him herself. He began to see the high assassin for lessons and soon surpassed him. By the time he was two he was leading the corps out into battle, bringing back the corpses as victory prizes for the King. His two brothers that were also thought to be assassins; however, none of them ever showed the genius that Zai did. They began to forage a hate bond between each other against Zai because of this. They were also jealous of the bond that Zai and their mother had. She always showed favoritism towards him and didn’t pay them much attention. One day they decided to ambush Zai in the forest despite his skill. They figured, maybe because they were a group of two, they would have a better shot at taking him down. Wrong, a gifted canine such as Zai would never fall to the likes of them. With his paws bloodied and his muzzles coated, he ran home, now an only child. When Zai’s father found out about the incident and looked on his last son’s bloodied face, he became furious and quickly ran to Zai’s mother. He scolded her and beat her for letting such a thing like this happen. Though Zai’s father was proud of his son’s talent, he was scared that something like this would happen someday, that the killing would enter the court and not just stay out in the field. He let his rage blind him and before he knew it Zai’s mother was on the floor dead. Now freaking out, Zai’s father tried his best to make it look like he had not touched Zai’s mother, but, this of course, would fail. Soon Zai was at his father’s door, with a heart broken and filled with a rage that could never be controlled. Blood was splattered everywhere and the corpse was barely that. Zai’s mother would not die in vain, and he would make sure of that. With that, he left the city cursing his family. For a long time he would travel around the world killing at random, losing his morals. His bending powers were perfected during this time alone. He knew he needed no teacher at this point. Eventually he hit his breaking point, the point in which he was tired of running, tired of living life as a shadow. Around this time he would meet and beautiful canine murderess that would captivate his world. They became friends and went on their own little killing sprees with each other. He didn’t know what was going on with him but he was developing feelings that he never thought were possible. The more time he spent with her the more he felt them. Eventually she would confide in him about the one she truly loved and was heart broken that it wasn’t him. Even still, he supported her wanting to see her happy. It wasn’t long after that, that he found that she had left him behind…left him alone. Torn apart and angry he knew he needed to do something if he ever stood a chance to be happy again. He wonders from his mother quite often to explore his surroundings and exhibits a fearlessness that might cause some trouble for him in the future. As he grows, he inherits a deeper personality. He becomes a canine that is hard to deal with at times. He is brash and somewhat insensitive to what others are feeling and/or trying to expressto him. He is probably what people would call socially challenged; however, he has no problems talking to others, he just expresses himself in a rather unacceptable way often making others uncomfortable. He is very smart and this might be a reason for his social awkwardness.
